To work on the spacial aspects of our learning program, we have hired Eryll Jalipa, a Nairobi-based Interior Designer. Coming highly recommended, her experience has ranged from malls and banks to boutique stores and cafes. Eryll will be working on the three schools we are using for our models – Kenya Fluorspar Primary, St. Patricks Iten, and Precious Blood.
Her work requires site visits to plan and then supervise building and renovations, as well as layout design, furniture design, and tendering. Her extensive network of relationships with local suppliers has been critical for us to achieve quick and cost-competitive solutions. Eryll accompanied me on my trip to Eldoret this time to see Fluorspar and St. Patricks, so she could visit the necessary sites and and take measurements and photos which are a critical component to start the designs for upgrading the libraries.
