An area we weren’t expecting a lot of mess was the librarian’s desk. However, when we started to clean and move out the books, the work started to feel more like an archaeological dig than book sorting.
Some of these books were technically new and unused, shoved into corners of the desk and unavailable to the students despite the fact that they are for the current curriculum and books are lacking.
These books below (brand new unused) were found collecting dust and dead bugs behind the librarian’s desk. They hadn’t even been stamped yet.
