While back in Lamu for the Bright Girls opening, I also handed over the books we had selected to donate to Shella Nursery. This is the second nursery school we have donated books to (first was Fluorspar nursery).
Below are captions of their first encounters with these books. It is truly magical to witness. We expect that exposure to picture books, and being read to by their teachers, will enhance their english and comprehension skills. I can’t wait to follow up over the next several months to see the results.
