I can’t wait to order this book for our KEY Libraries when it comes out this October. Our friends at Bloomsbury (thanks Emily!) were telling us about it at the London Book Fair this year, and today we read about it again in the Standard Newspaper. This book was the brain child of Binyavanga Wainaina, a Kenyan writer we love, who’s book One Day I Will Write About This Place we include in our secondary school KEY Libraries. Africa 39 features short stories by 39 African writers under 40 (including 6 Kenyans!).
