Since the Precious Blood girls visited Iten and worked with the St. Patricks boys on their library back in August, there has been a measurable change in the interest of and care for their library. The girls seem to have made such an impact at the school, that the boys had asked if they could travel to Nairobi and see their library in the flesh. And so phase 2 of what is becoming a friendship, partnership, and amicable rivalry was planned. The boys are arriving tomorrow afternoon, where they will spend the days at Precious Blood, and evenings at Dagoretti Boys School (a provincial school near PB). They will be helping with the initial setting up and organizing of the new library at Precious Blood – perfect practice for when we do their own library in 1 month.
